For the neck and shoulders that carry your whole day.
Long hours at a desk, a phone in your hand, stress that settles at the base of your neck. By evening it all ends up in the same place. The 7HW MantleHug drapes over your neck, both shoulders and upper back like a soft, weighted cape, and wraps those areas in red and near-infrared light while you work, read or unwind. It's fully cordless, so you're never stuck next to a socket: walk to the kitchen, answer the door or tidy up mid-session. Put it on, press start and keep going.
Who reaches for the MantleHug
If your shoulders creep up towards your ears by mid-afternoon, or your neck feels stiff every time you look up from a screen, this is the routine built for you.
"By 4pm my shoulders feel like concrete."
Desk & laptop workers
Wear it through a meeting or an email session. Your hands stay free and your light routine fits inside the workday.
"I'm looking down at a screen all day."
Screen-heavy days
Phones, tablets and laptops pull the head forward. The MantleHug covers the back of the neck and the tops of the shoulders, where that strain builds.
"My traps are tight for days after training."
Active people
Add a relaxed light session to your recovery routine after the gym, a long ride or a day of lifting and carrying.
"I can't switch off after work."
Evening wind-down
Drape it on the sofa with a book or a cup of tea. The soft, weighted cape is a calm signal that the day is over.
Designed around where tension actually sits
Neck, both shoulders and upper back in one session
Tension rarely stays in one spot. It runs from the base of your skull, across the tops of your shoulders and down between your shoulder blades. The MantleHug covers that whole area at once, so you don't have to move a small pad from place to place or choose which side gets attention today.
Care at the surface and in the muscles beneath it
Every LED in the MantleHug carries two kinds of light. Visible red light works at the skin's surface, and invisible near-infrared light reaches deeper into the tissue below. You get both in every session, with nothing to switch or set.
The extra weight is what makes it fit so well
Light wraps sit loosely and leave gaps between the pad and your body. The MantleHug's weighted hem gently draws the cape down, so it settles into the curve of your neck and shoulders and holds the light close to your skin. It stays in place when you reach for a mug or turn in your chair, and many people find the soft, even pressure comforting, like a weighted blanket for your shoulders.
Your session keeps going while you walk, cook or tidy up
Most light wraps and heating pads tie you to one chair next to a wall socket. The MantleHug has its battery and controller built in, so nothing holds you in place. Get up to make a coffee, walk to the printer, answer the door or put the kids' toys away, and your session carries on. When it's time to recharge, use the same USB-C cable as your phone, plugged into a wall adapter, a laptop, a power bank or a car charger.
Wrapped up and cosy, with no heating element
The MantleHug doesn't use heating wires. It keeps you warm the way a good cape does: the layers hold in your own body heat around your neck and shoulders. That makes it comfortable on cold mornings and in air-conditioned offices, without anything getting hot against your skin.
Soft outside, breathable inside
The outer layer is a plush velvet that feels good against your neck and hands. The inner side, where the light shines through, is a breathable mesh, so you stay comfortable through a longer session instead of feeling sticky or closed in.
A routine that rewards consistency
Red light is a habit, not a one-off fix. Here's how most routines unfold.
The weighted drape and soft warmth feel calming straight away. Most people find it an easy, pleasant moment to pause in the day.
It becomes part of your routine: after work, during a long call, or on the sofa in the evening. Regular sessions matter more than long ones.
Consistent users often notice their neck and shoulders feel looser and more comfortable at the end of the day. Individual results vary.

No UV, no heating wires
Red and near-infrared LED light with no UV. There is no heating element; the warmth you feel comes from the insulating layers holding your body heat.
Easy to look after
Spot-clean the velvet with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Do not machine-wash or submerge the MantleHug, as it contains electronics and a battery.

Don't look directly into the LEDs. If you are pregnant, light-sensitive, taking photosensitising medication, have an implanted medical device or a skin condition, consult your doctor first.

Questions before you buy
The MantleHug has no heating element. The warmth you feel comes from its insulating layers holding in your own body heat, plus the gentle warmth of the LEDs. It's comfortable to wear directly against your neck and shoulders.
That's normal. Each LED contains two red chips (660nm), which you can see, and one near-infrared chip (850nm), which is invisible to the human eye. When you see the red glow, the near-infrared light is working alongside it.
No. The weighted hem keeps the MantleHug settled on your shoulders, and the shoulder line is contoured to follow your body. You can reach for a drink, type or turn in your chair without readjusting it.
The weight is what gives the MantleHug its close fit. At approx. 1.07kg, spread evenly across your neck, shoulders and upper back, it settles into your contours so the LEDs stay close to your skin and the cape doesn't drift. Many people find the gentle pressure comforting, like a weighted blanket for the shoulders.
The MantleHug is one size, measuring 57 × 44cm when worn and approx. 102cm laid flat. It covers the neck, both shoulders and upper back on most adults, and the front panel closes so it sits snugly.
Light works best with direct skin contact, so wear it against your skin or over a thin top. Thick jumpers block much of the light, so take off heavy layers before a session.
Yes. The battery and controller are built into the MantleHug, with no cable to a wall socket, so you can walk around the house, cook, tidy up, work at your desk or take calls during a session. The weighted hem keeps it settled on your shoulders as you move. It's designed for everyday, low-impact movement, not for exercise, driving or sleeping.
It charges with the included USB-C cable (5V/2A input) from a wall adapter, laptop, power bank or car charger, the same way you charge your phone.
Spot-clean the velvet surface with a soft, slightly damp cloth and let it air-dry. Because it contains electronics and a battery, do not machine-wash or submerge it.
If you are pregnant, light-sensitive, taking photosensitising medication, have an implanted medical device or a skin condition in the area, consult your doctor before use.
