Full-body red light therapy at home, head to toe in one session.
Sore after training, stiff in the mornings, or wound up at the end of the day? Lie back, zip yourself in and let red and near-infrared light reach your back, shoulders, hips, knees and feet all at once. And with the head wrap included as standard, your face and scalp get the light too. No clinic appointment, and no moving a small panel from spot to spot.
- 6,720light chips, front and back
- ~70%near-infrared for deeper relief
- 180 × 180 cmspacious full-body wrap
- Head wrapincluded, detachable, use it or leave it off
When the PodMax earns its place in your week
Made for the days when it's more than one sore spot.
After training
Legs, back and shoulders all ache
After a long run, a lifting day or a match, lie in and cover every muscle you worked in one session.
Stiff mornings
Joints and lower back feel locked up
A warm-light session before your day starts helps you loosen up and move more freely.
Before bed
Your body is tired but your mind won't switch off
Zip in, dim the room and spend 16–22 minutes in calm, wrap-around light as part of your wind-down.
Skin routine
You want your face and body to glow
With the head wrap on, your face, neck, chest, arms and legs all get red light care in the same session.
Full-body wrap
Light above you and beneath you, at the same time
Most red light devices only shine from one side, so you treat your front, then flip, then treat your back. The PodMax has light on both layers. Lie down, zip it closed, and your front and back are treated together, in half the time.
Opened out it measures nearly 180 × 180 cm, so it wraps fully around you instead of leaving gaps at the shoulders and hips. More of your body is covered, which means more of it gets the light.
- Front and back of your body in one session
- Plenty of room for most adults to turn and stretch
- Lie on it open, drape it over you, or zip it fully closed
Head wrap included
Face and scalp included, or leave them out
Every PodMax includes a detachable LED head wrap as standard. Put it on when you want your face, forehead and scalp included, which makes it handy for skin glow and scalp care. Take it off on days when you'd rather keep your head out and treat your body only.
- One session for body, face and scalp
- Easy to attach and remove whenever you like
- Close your eyes or wear goggles while it's on
Mostly near-infrared
Built for the aches you feel deep down
Every LED holds three tiny light chips. In 48 rows, each LED pairs one 660 nm red chip with two 850 nm near-infrared chips. The other 8 rows are near-infrared only. In total, roughly 7 out of every 10 chips are near-infrared.
Here's why that matters. Red light mostly works at skin level, which is good for tone and glow. Near-infrared goes deeper, into the muscles and joints where soreness and stiffness actually sit.
- 660 nm red light for skin
- 850 nm near-infrared for muscles and joints
- Near-infrared is invisible to the eye. You can check it with your phone camera.
Dense, even light
6,720 light chips, no dark patches
Each side holds 56 rows of 20 LEDs. Open it out and that becomes 56 rows of 40 LEDs, 2,240 in all, which adds up to 6,720 light chips. They're packed closely and evenly, so no part of your body ends up sitting in a gap.
- Measured irradiance: 1,200 W/m²
- LEDs set into foam for a soft, even surface to lie on
- 5 brightness levels, so you can start gentle and build up
Sweat-proof inner liner
Sweat freely, the LEDs stay dry
A 30-minute session in a full-body wrap gets warm. A clear PVC liner sits between you and the lights. It lets 99% of the light straight through, and it's waterproof and sweat-proof, so sweat stays on the liner and never reaches the LEDs.
When you're done, take the liner out and wipe it down, then put it back. It stays fresh session after session.
- 99% light transmission, so no light is lost
- Waterproof and sweat-proof, which protects the LEDs
- Removable for easy cleaning
Safety-first connector
A safer plug than USB or DC, with overheat protection
You're lying inside this blanket, so how it's powered matters. Instead of an ordinary USB cable or DC jack, the PodMax connects through its own wide, dedicated plug with built-in overheat protection, which is a safer choice for a device you lie inside. It runs on low-voltage 24 V power through a certified adapter.
- Built-in overheat protection in the plug, safer than standard USB or DC
- Low-voltage 24 V power
- CE & RoHS certified device, ETL, CE & PSE certified adapter
One simple controller
Set it once, then just relax
One six-button controller runs everything, with no app and no second remote. Hold the centre button to switch on, pick your brightness and time, and close your eyes. It switches itself off when the timer ends.
- Brightness: 5 levels, P1–P5. P0 turns the light off.
- Timer: 10 to 60 minutes, in 10-minute steps
- Modes: constant, 10 Hz pulse or 40 Hz pulse. Same light, so choose the feel you like.
Feels premium, folds away
Full-body therapy that lives in a closet
The outside is soft PU leather. Unlike the neoprene "diving fabric" bags some brands use, it has no rubbery smell and doesn't crease when folded. Use it on your bed, sofa or floor, then fold it down to 81 × 30 × 16 cm and slide it into a closet.
- Odour-free, scratch-resistant PU leather
- Zips into a 90 × 180 cm sleeping-bag shape
- Long 200 cm cable from the blanket to the controller
How long should you use it?
Start with 11–14 minutes and build up. Aim for 3–6 sessions a week, up to 30 minutes each.

Questions before you buy
What people most want to know about full-body red light at home.
If you're dealing with more than one area, such as sore legs and back after training, general stiffness, or full-body skin care, a blanket is the most practical option. The PodMax treats your front and back at the same time, so you don't have to move a light around and repeat. One 20–30 minute session covers what would otherwise take several.
Yes. Attach the included head wrap and your face, forehead and scalp get light along with your body. It's detachable, so you can leave it off on days when you only want to treat your body. Keep your eyes closed or wear goggles while it's on.
That's expected, and it's fine. A clear PVC liner sits between you and the LEDs. It's waterproof and sweat-proof, so sweat never reaches the lights, and it lets 99% of the light through. After your session, remove the liner and wipe it clean.
For muscles and joints, near-infrared (850 nm) is the one that matters most, because it reaches deeper than visible red light. That's why roughly 70% of the PodMax's light chips are near-infrared. The 660 nm red chips take care of the skin.
Most people use it 3–6 times a week for 11–30 minutes. Start with 11–14 minutes and build up. For muscle recovery and joint comfort, aim for 22–30 minutes; for skin, 11–18 minutes; for sleep and relaxation, 16–22 minutes before bed. Keep each session to 30 minutes or less, because more isn't better.
The PodMax runs on low-voltage 24 V power and connects through a dedicated plug with built-in overheat protection, a safer design than standard USB or DC connectors. The device is CE and RoHS certified, and the adapter is ETL, CE and PSE certified. Protect your eyes, keep it away from open water and heat sources, and check with your doctor first if you're pregnant, light-sensitive or have a medical condition. Not for children.
No. Although it's shaped like a sleeping bag, it's designed for timed sessions. Set the timer (10–60 minutes) and it switches off automatically. For better sleep, use a 16–22 minute session as part of your wind-down, then get into bed.
Almost certainly not. Near-infrared light (850 nm) is invisible to the human eye, and most of the PodMax's chips are near-infrared, so some LEDs look dark even when they're working. Point your phone camera at them and you'll see them glow on the screen.
Opened out, the PodMax is nearly 180 × 180 cm, and zipped it measures 90 × 180 cm, more spacious than the common 180 × 160 cm format. Most adults fit comfortably with space to move. If you're taller, you can use it open as a mat and drape the top layer over you.
Fold it gently along its seams to 81 × 30 × 16 cm and keep it somewhere dry. Avoid leaving heavy items on top for long periods. The PodMax comes with a 1-year warranty. Want to understand red light therapy better first? Read our Red Light Therapy guides.
