Red light for the spot that's bothering you, wherever you happen to be.
A stiff neck at your desk. Tight calves after a run. A dull patch of skin you want to look after. Most red light panels need a wall socket and a corner of the room. The 7HW EmberGo is a small, cordless panel you can set on a desk, a side table or the floor and aim at one area at a time. Pick a setting, sit back, and it switches itself off when the session is done.
Who reaches for the EmberGo
If you want red light for one area at a time without giving up floor space to a large panel, this is the easy place to start.
"My neck and shoulders lock up by 3pm."
Desk workers
Stand it next to your monitor and angle it at your neck or shoulders while you keep working.
"My legs still feel it two days after training."
Active people
Prop it on the floor after a run, a lift or a long hike and point it at the muscles that worked hardest.
"I want my skin to look less tired."
Skincare routines
Add a short red light session to your evening routine, with the included goggles keeping your eyes comfortable.
"I don't have room for a big panel."
Small spaces & travel
About the size of a paperback, it lives in a drawer and slips into a weekend bag, so your routine keeps going away from home.
Built for the ten minutes you actually have
Use it on the sofa, at your desk or on the bedroom floor
The battery is built in, so you're not hunting for a socket or tripping over a cable. Charge it like your phone, then take it to wherever the sore spot happens to be today. A routine that's easy to start is the one you keep.
Care for the skin surface and the muscle beneath it
Visible red light works at the skin's surface, while invisible near-infrared light reaches deeper into the tissue below. Use them together for an all-round session, or pick one when you want to focus on skin or on tired muscles.
Set it down, angle it, and let your arms rest
Holding a device for twenty minutes gets old fast. The EmberGo sits on its own stand, so you can tilt it towards your face, neck, back or knee and simply relax. You can still pick it up and hold it when you want to reach an awkward spot.
Start gentle, build up, and it remembers where you left off
New to red light? Begin on a lower level and work up as you get used to it. Once you've found the setting you like, the panel remembers it, so next time it's one press and you're done.
Close your eyes. The session ends on its own.
Pick a session length and stop watching the clock. A quick five minutes before work or a longer wind-down in the evening: the panel turns itself off when time is up, so you can't forget it's running.
Four clear buttons. No app, no pairing, no manual to memorise.
Each button does one job, so you can change the light, the brightness or the timer without reading anything twice. It's the kind of device the whole household can use from day one.
Small sessions, done often
Red light works best as a habit. Here's how most routines unfold.
Get to know the modes and brightness levels. Many people enjoy a gentle, warm and relaxing feeling during and after a session.
Sessions become part of your day: after training, at your desk, or before bed. Consistency starts to matter more than session length.
The stage where regular users typically look for skin that looks fresher and muscles that feel looser day to day. Individual results vary.
Five steps, 5 to 30 minutes
- ChargeFully charge the panel with the included USB Type-C cable before first use.
- PlaceSet it on its stand and tilt it towards the area you want to treat, on clean, bare skin.
- ProtectPut on the included goggles, especially for face or neck sessions.
- ChoosePress Mode, Brightness and Timer to pick your light, level and session length.
- RelaxSit back. The panel switches off automatically when the timer ends.

Questions before you buy
The EmberGo is made for one area at a time: your neck, a shoulder, your lower back, a knee or your face. Because it sits close to the skin on its own stand, it focuses its light where you aim it. If you mainly want to treat specific spots rather than your whole body at once, a compact panel is the practical choice.
Yes. A 6000mAh battery is built in, so you can use it anywhere without a socket. When it needs power, charge it with the included USB Type-C cable, just like a phone. How many sessions you get per charge depends on the mode and brightness level you use.
No, that's normal. 850nm near-infrared light is essentially invisible to the human eye, so in IR850 mode the panel looks dim or dark even while it's working. Switch to R660 or RR660+850 mode and you'll see the red glow.
Yes. Many people use it as part of their evening skincare routine. Start on clean, dry skin, wear the included goggles, and don't look directly into the LEDs.
No. The LEDs emit no UV and sessions feel gentle, with mild warmth at most. If anything feels too warm, lower the brightness level or move the panel slightly further away.
Choose a session length from 5 to 30 minutes per area. Most people start short and on a lower brightness, then build up. Regular sessions matter more than long ones. Follow the guidance in your user manual.
Face, neck, shoulders, back, arms and legs. Set it on a desk, table or the floor and tilt it towards the area you want to focus on, or hold it for spots that are harder to reach.
Yes. It's compact enough for a carry-on. Its built-in 3.7V 6000mAh battery (about 22Wh) is below the 100Wh limit most airlines set for lithium batteries, and like other battery devices it should travel in your cabin bag, not checked luggage. Check your airline's rules before you fly.
Not at all. There are four buttons: Power, Mode, Timer and Brightness. There's no app to download, and the panel remembers your last setting so you can start your usual session with one press.
The EmberGo panel, a USB Type-C charging cable, a pair of protective goggles and a user manual.
